Ingredients:
For the Fish:
- 2 cod fillets (about 8 oz each)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- Lemon wedges, for serving
For the Baby Broccoli:
- 8 oz Baby Broccoli
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Prepare the Cod Fish:
- Season the cod fillets with salt and pepper.
- Dredge each fillet in flour, dip in beaten egg, and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry the fillets for 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
Cook the Baby Broccoli:
- Heat olive oil in a separate skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add Baby Broccoli and cook for 5–7 minutes until tender-crisp.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve:
- Plate the fried cod fish alongside the sautéed Baby Broccoli.
- Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
